We don’t have to tell you that the world has changed. When coronavirus hit and quarantines began, it changed the way we live, interact with others, and conduct our day-to-day lives.

Some of these changes have been uncomfortable, inconvenient, and downright scary. Luckily, there are many that have brought new perspectives, awareness, and humanity. After all, we’re all in this together.

Here are some ways that Steadfast Security, Inc. has changed and grown throughout this trying time.

We Have Reprioritized Our Security Efforts
While the need for security services has been reduced in many verticals, it is still a vital service in many industries and locations. Particularly as shopping centers, industrial complexes, and residential communities see lower foot traffic, there is an increased chance for illicit activity and new security concerns. We’ve taken this into account and increased patrols accordingly.

For those businesses that are still up and running, there are also new day-to-day health anxieties and novel concerns that they did not previously face. We’ve taken these new concerns into account as well as we continue to operate and shift our priorities.

We’ve Increased Support for Our Staff
At Steadfast Security, Inc. Health and safety is our number one priority. To this end, we have:
Instructed our guards about on-premise cleanliness and how to maintain sanitation and social distance.
Provided personal protective equipment when appropriate – including masks, gloves, and sanitizer – along with instructions for proper PPE use and safety procedures, including temperature checks when necessary.
Increased our remote operations and our communication over technology to decrease exposure and increase distancing and safety among Steadfast Security, Inc. Personnel.
Made sure to pay our guards a premium wage as they continue to serve their communities during this trying time.

We’ve Taken Measures to Ensure Uninterrupted Service
The supply chain has been interrupted around the world, and this has caused interruptions in service and availability of supplies in many industries.

At Steadfast Security, Inc., we want to offer uninterrupted availability of our security services, and we’ve taken steps to make sure that that happens. This includes shifting operations to ensure our support teams can maintain social distancing guidelines and coordinating with our key suppliers – tech, uniforms, and operational supplies – to ensure that our guards remain safe and properly supported.

We Take Greater Care With Each Visitor At Our Properties
We know that visitors have new health and safety concerns as they enter shopping centers and residential communities. We are altering our services to take better care of each visitor at our properties, helping to:

Limit the number of people who can enter a store at any time
Maintain social distancing measure in parking lot and common areas
Enforce mask policies
Respond promptly to any safety-related concerns that our tenants may have

These efforts are just beginning, and we are continuing to stay agile and pivot as the situation changes and new needs arise. Thank you to everyone who has been part of this transformation, and we wish for the best for our entire Steadfast Security, Inc. Community.
